Security and privacy are part of the design

Child data is sensitive. That is why Kidio is designed from the start around these principles:

  • Each institution’s data is kept separate and isolated at the database level.
  • A parent sees only their own child’s data.
  • Child photos are not served through permanent public links, but through private access that passes an authorization check.
  • Important actions are written to an audit log.

This is not a legal compliance statement. KVKK and GDPR requirements are design inputs and are subject to legal review before launch.
